Business Budgeting Mastery Programme
Build financial control systems that actually work for your business
Most small business owners tell me they hate budgeting. I get it—spreadsheets can feel like punishment. But here's what I've learned after working with hundreds of UK businesses: the ones that figure out budgeting aren't necessarily smarter. They just have better systems. This programme gives you those systems, step by step, without the corporate jargon.
Discuss Your NeedsWhat You'll Actually Learn
Six modules that take you from "I hope we have enough money" to "I know exactly where we stand"
Understanding Cash Flow Reality
Forget complicated accounting theory. We start with what's actually happening in your bank account and build from there.
- Reading your business finances like a story
- Finding money leaks you didn't know existed
- Building a three-month visibility window
- Creating alerts that matter
Budget Design for Real Businesses
Templates are fine, but your business isn't a template. Learn to build budgets that reflect how you actually operate.
- Choosing the right budget structure
- Handling seasonal variation
- Planning for growth without overextending
- Building contingency that makes sense
Cost Control Without Drama
You don't need to slash everything. You need to know what's worth paying for and what isn't.
- Analysing vendor relationships properly
- Negotiating better terms
- Identifying the 20% of costs causing 80% of problems
- Making cuts that don't hurt operations
Revenue Forecasting That Works
Stop guessing. Start using data you already have to predict what's coming with reasonable accuracy.
- Finding patterns in your sales history
- Adjusting for market changes
- Building conservative and optimistic scenarios
- Using forecasts to make decisions
Team Accountability Systems
Your budget only works if your team understands it. Make everyone part of the solution.
- Communicating financial goals clearly
- Setting department-level targets
- Creating reporting that people actually read
- Building a cost-conscious culture
Crisis Planning and Recovery
Things go wrong. Suppliers fail. Markets shift. Have a plan ready before you need it.
- Identifying your biggest financial vulnerabilities
- Building emergency protocols
- Managing through temporary shortfalls
- Rebuilding after setbacks
How the Programme Unfolds
Foundation Phase
Weeks 1-3
We start by diagnosing your current situation. You'll map your existing cash flow, identify where money comes from and where it goes, and spot immediate opportunities for improvement. Most participants find at least one significant issue they weren't aware of during this phase.
Building Phase
Weeks 4-7
Here's where you create your actual budget framework. Using your real numbers, we'll build a system that accounts for your specific business model, seasonal patterns, and growth plans. You'll leave this phase with a working budget, not just theory.
Implementation Phase
Weeks 8-11
Now comes the practical part—getting your team on board, setting up tracking systems, and establishing regular review processes. We'll troubleshoot the inevitable hiccups and adjust your approach based on what's actually working in your business.
Refinement Phase
Weeks 12-16
By now you've got a month or two of real data under your belt. We'll analyse what's working, fix what isn't, and build the habits that make budgeting feel natural instead of forced. This is where good systems become great ones.
Who Leads This Programme
You'll work with financial practitioners who've actually done this stuff in real businesses, not just consultants who've read about it.

Rhiannon Whitfield
Financial Systems Architecture
Spent twelve years building budget frameworks for manufacturing companies before shifting to education. Rhiannon has this gift for explaining complex financial concepts using everyday examples. She's particularly good at helping businesses that have outgrown their original systems.

Fallon Brennan
Cash Flow Management
Former finance director for a Leicester-based retail chain that went through three major expansions. Fallon knows exactly what it's like to manage tight margins and unpredictable income. Her forecasting methods have helped dozens of businesses avoid cash crunches.

Saskia Pembroke
Cost Analysis & Control
Worked as operations manager for service businesses before specialising in cost optimisation. Saskia has this knack for finding inefficiencies that everyone else misses. She's helped companies reduce expenses by meaningful amounts without cutting quality or staff.
